Follow this guide to set up ClipSpark on your computer. The whole process only takes a few minutes — no technical skills required.

Check these three things first so the installation goes smoothly.

64-bit version. Windows 7/8 is not officially supported.
300 MB free minimum
The installer is around 84 MB, plus extra space for temporary files during clip rendering.
Required during installation
Used for license activation and auto-updates. Transcription and clipping themselves run locally on your device.

Download the installer
Go to the Download section on the main page, then click "Download full for Windows". You'll be redirected to checkout to complete payment before the installer file downloads.

Open the downloaded file
Find the file ClipSpark-Setup-1.4.2.exe in your Downloads folder, then double-click it to run it.
Windows SmartScreen might show a "Windows protected your PC" warning because this installer is still newly registered. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to continue. This is normal for new apps and not a sign of danger.
Follow the setup process
The setup wizard will open. Click "Next", choose an installation folder (or leave the default), then click "Install". Wait for the progress bar to finish — usually less than a minute.
Done — start clipping
Once activation is complete, ClipSpark is ready to use. Upload your first video and let the AI find the best moments.
ClipSpark automatically checks for updates every time it opens, so you're always running the latest version.

Can ClipSpark be used on Mac or Linux?
ClipSpark is currently only available for Windows 10/11 (64-bit). Support for other platforms is being considered for a future release.
Can a license be used on more than one computer?
One license key is tied to one device. If you want to move it to another computer, contact support to deactivate the old device.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Transcription and clipping run entirely locally on your computer, so your video file never needs to be uploaded to the internet.
How do I update to the latest version?
ClipSpark checks for updates automatically every time it opens. Just follow the update notification that appears inside the app.
What does the 1-day trial mean?
The trial version gives you full access to ClipSpark's features for 24 hours from activation, so you can try it before buying the full version.
